Home of the San Gabriel Valley Arsenal Baseball Inc.
Welcome to the San Gabriel Valley Arsenal website. The Arsenal was established in the summer of 2001 with players from throughout the San Gabriel Valley. As our program grew, we expanded into 6 teams. A 13U, 14U, 15U/'11, 16U/'10, and two 18U teams. We now have players from the San Fernando Valley,Inland Empire, Orange County and the Greater Los Angeles area. Our roster consists of players from the following high schools: Damien, South Hills, La Mirada, Bishop Amat, Claremont, St. Francis, Monrovia, Bonita, Long Beach Wilson, Edison, Saugus, LB Miliken, Crespi, Sonora, Glendora, Glenn, Chino Hills, Cypress, Cresenta Valley, Villa Park, Orange Lutheran, Servite, Barstow, Bellflower, Etiwanda, San Dimas, Lakewood, Troy, Santa Fe, Windward, Mayfair, La Quinta(LQ), Maranatha, Inglewood, Alemany, Ayala and Northview.

SGV ARSENAL TRY OUT INFORMATION
The San Gabriel Valley Arsenal will host try outs for the fall program in September at Maverick Field in the city of West Covina. We are hosting try outs for 15U-18U players. The cost of the try outs is $20.00 per players. The fee will cover both try out dates. It is not required to attend both days but we we highly recommend it. Please fill out the player profile form and email to mike@sgvbaseball.com and bring a copy to the try outs. Please email or call for more information or questions. All returning 15U players from the SGV Arsenal summer team are required to try out for the Fall 16U team.
The West Covina Dukes and SGV Arsenal have come together under the
Maverick Baseball Academy name. While we are both are and will continue
to be separate organizations we both have the same beliefs in
fundamental baseball development of the youth in our community. We will
be holding tryouts for both teams. The West Covina Dukes will have a
13u and 14u teams. The SGV Arsenal will have teams from 15u to 18u. For more information on the 13U and 14U teams please contact Cameron Saylor at saylorklan@aol.com and Abe Rangel at rangelabe@hotmail.com.

SGV ARSENAL FALL PROGRAM DAY
On September 20th, The San Gabriel Valley Arsenal with hold its 4th Annual program day. The event will take place at Maverick Field in the city of West Covina. The program day showcases the Arsenal program to college recruiters and MLB scouts. The event will feature our 15U and 16U teams playing each other at 3:00 followed by the 17U team facing off against 18U team. We will be providing BBQ from Buckboard BBQ and Grill to all parents, players, scouts and colleges. Last year, the event was well attended by Colleges and MLB scouts.

Congratulation to Jonathan Singleton on being names to the Aflac All American team. After a strong showing at the Perfect Game National showcase in the Metrodome he was selected to particiapate in this years game. Jonathan is the 5th player from the Arsenal program to be selected as an Aflac All American.
The 2008 Aflac All–American High School Baseball Game will be played at
Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, the first time in the game's six–year
history that it will be played at a Major League stadium. The premiere
high school All–American game in the country, the Aflac All–American
Game will take place Saturday, Aug. 9, in Dodger Stadium at noon
Pacific time.
