There are lots of jobs that need to be done during matches.  And we get great support from our Parents!  Our goal is to excuse the players from these jobs in order to give them a chance to do what they need to do prepare for their match and work on their homework.  This means we need a lot of help from a lot of parents and other supporters.

Scorekeeper
The home team provides the official scorekeeper and the visiting team has a shadow scorekeeper to keep them honest.  We 'graduated' a couple parents experienced at this job and we need some new scorekeepers to step up.

Libero Tracker and Scoreboard Operator
These are 'easier' jobs at the scorers table and do not require a high level of volleyball expertise. The scoreboard is NOT the official score.  By rule the book is always right.  So the board is for the fans.   People are understandably nervous at first, but these are low pressure jobs that anyone can do.  Really.

Linesmen
This is a pretty simple job that makes a lot of people nervous.  This job does not require a lot of expertise, but you have to pay attention and have confidence in what you see.

Stats
Coaches review films and capture the efficiency stats the next day.  We still need people to take "Newspaper" stats - Kills, Aces, Assists, & Stuff Blocks which need to be reported that night.

Announcing and Sound
Student volunteers usually setup and man the sound system.  We are fortunate to have Ed Robinson as the  PA announcer to introduce the lineups and lead the Pledge of Allegiance and Opening Prayer.

Game Films
This year we would like to get 2 video recordings of each game.  One covering the entire court and another focused on the AMHS side.

Admissions and Concessions
Each home match needs ticket  takers and concessions stand volunteers.  Concession operators do not have to purchase or cook food.  Just man the booth (which has a view of the court so you can watch the match!)
