NY Bad Apples at 2008 USAASA 18 U Class A National Championships
New York Bad Apples
Welcome to our orchard of the NY Bad Apples located at BAGSAI in Binghamton, NY. BAGSAI is an acronym for "Binghamton Area Girls Softball Association Incorporated". We are members of this association made up of volunteers who want to promote competitive girls and women's softball in the Broome County area. Through a cooperative effort by this association and the Broome County Department of Parks and Recreation, a championship four-field softball complex has evolved.

We compete as a 18U Fastpitch travel team and have won many Championships including, 9 ASA State Titles, 1 NSA State Title, 1 ASA National Qualifier, 5 ASA Regional Titles and have been to 18 ASA National Championship Tournaments, 1 PONY National Championship Tournament and 1 AFA National Championship Tournament. We have finished 13th in the country 4 times, in 1993 at the 16u ASA Nationals in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1998 at the 14u ASA Nationals in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, in 2006 at the 18u Nationals in Owensboro, KY, and this year at the 18u Nationals in Moline, IL. Not a BAD bunch to say the least...we are good to the core!!!
