PATINAGE PLUS / CANSKATE
Mardi ET/OU Samedi
Ce programme d’initiation au patinage s’adresse aux débutants de tous les âges et est adapté en fonction des groupes d’utilisateurs (par ex., les enfants d’âge préscolaire, les jeunes). Les participants obtiennent des écussons pour les habiletés fondamentales de patinage apprises. Patinage Plus est le programme qui alimente tous les programmes de patinage de Patinage Canada. Les leçons sont habituellement données en groupe par des entraîneurs certifiés. Des assistants de programme qui ont suivi une formation pertinente (patineurs du programme des tests ou de compétition) travaillent également avec les membres de Patinage Plus. Le mouvement des patineurs sur la glace 90 % du temps est une des normes clés de la prestation du programme de Patinage Plus.
Tuesday AND/OR Saturday
This program is the learn-to-skate program for beginners of all ages and is tailored to each user group (e.g. pre-school, youth). Participants earn badges while they learn fundamental skating skills. CanSkate is the feeder program to all other Skate Canada Skating Programs. Participants are generally taught in a group lesson format by a certified coach. Carefully trained Program Assistants (Test or Competitive Program skaters) also work with CanSkate members. One of the key delivery standards of the CanSkate program is to ensure that participants are moving 90% of their time on the ice.

This program is the learn-to-skate program for adults 14 years and up and is tailored to each user group. Participants learn fundamental skating skills. PATINAGE STAR / PRIMARY STAR SKATE
Mercredi ET Samedi
Le programme Patinage STAR de Patinage Canada offre aux patineurs l’occasion d’apprendre les habiletés de patinage de base dans quatre disciplines et la possibilité de faire les tests de Patinage Canada et d’obtenir des prix et des récompenses conçus spécialement pour ce groupe de patineurs. Les habiletés de patinage artistique sont enseignées en leçons en groupe ou particulières, dans les disciplines suivantes : programme artistique, danse, style libre et les habiletés de patinage.
***Les patineurs doivent avoir accompli de niveau 4 du programme de Canskate (sujet à l'évaluation).
Wednesday AND Saturday
The Skate Canada STARSkate program offers opportunities for skaters to develop basic figure skating skills in four different areas with the option of taking Skate Canada Tests while earning awards and incentives designed for this group of skaters. Figure skating skills are taught in group and/or private lesson format in the following areas: Artistic, Dance, Free Skating, and Skating Skills.
***Skaters have to have completed Level 4 of the Canskate program (subject to evaluation).
LEÇONS PRIVÉE / PRIVATE LESSONS
Ce programme est habituellement offert aux patineurs et patineuses ayant complèté le programme Patinage Plus mais tous les patineurs peuvent s'y inscrire. Les leçons privée offre aux patineurs et patineuses l'occasion de perfectionner leur habiletés de patinage de base dans trois domaines diférents : Style libres, Danse et Habiletés de patinage. Les patineurs ou patineuses inscrits à ce programme ne payent au Club que les frais d'inscription. Ces patineurs et patineuses doivent avoir un Entraîneur à qui ils paieront directement tous les autres frais reliés à l'entraînement et aux compétitions. Les participants de ce programme offre au patineurs ou patineuses en compétition. Vous pouvez contactez le Club pour obtenir une liste des Entraîneurs.
This program is usually offered to skaters who have completed the CanSkate program, however, this program is open to all skaters. Private lessons improve the basic skills of ice-skating in three different areas: Free Style, Dance and Skills. Skaters registered with this program pay only Club registration fees. They must have a Coach with whom they pay directly for lessons and other expenses should participants of this program wish to participate in competitions. You can contact the Club to obtain a list of the Coaches.
PATINAGE INTENSIF PLUS / CANPOWERSKATE

Le programme de Patinage intensif Plus met l’accent sur l’enseignement de l’équilibre, la puissance, l’agilité, la vitesse et l’endurance, habiletés particulièrement importantes pour les joueurs de hockey et de ringuette. Patinage intensif Plus est une alternative au patinage artistique et est le complément idéal pour les athlètes qui font partie d’une équipe de hockey ou de ringuette. La participation à ce programme permet d’acquérir des habiletés de patinage solides et de rester en excellente condition physique.
Tuesday-level 1 / Friday-level 2
The CanPowerSkate program stresses balance, power, agility, speed and endurance skills, all which are especially important for hockey and ringette players. CanPowerSkate provides an alternative to figure skating and is an ideal complement for those athletes playing on hockey or ringette teams. Strong skating skills and good physical conditioning are provided through participation in this program.
LES CHÂTELAINES
Jeudi ET/OU Samedi
Les personnes qui ont une habileté générale de patinage peuvent participer au programme de Patinage synchronisé Plus. Ce programme enseigne aux personnes de tous âges les fondements du patinage synchronisé. Des équipes de huit patineurs ou plus peuvent obtenir des récompenses en exécutant les éléments prescrits et s’inscrire à des compétitions invitation récréatives. Le programme de Patinage synchronisé Plus initie aussi les participants au travail et à l’esprit d’équipe. L’équipe synchronisé Les Chatelaines représent le Club de patinage de Châteauguay.

Synchronized skating involves a team of eight or more skaters skating various manoeuvres and formations to music of a team’s own choice. Synchronized skating refers to the importance of unison, the accuracy of formations and the precision of the team. The Club is home to Les Chatelaines Synchronized Skating team.
Les Chatelaines synchronized skating team was formed in 1977. The team was the first synchronized skating organization in Quebec and the Chateauguay Skating Club hosted the first-ever provincial synchronized championships. Les Chatelaines are proud to be named the first Festival Eastern Champions in the first Festival Competition held in 2001, winning the gold medal that year and the silver medal the year after. Coach Sylvie Allard has been coaching synchronized skating for 22 years and has spent 16 of those with Les Chatelaines. She was part of the original Chatelaines team formed in the 1977-1978 season and has been an integral part of the teams spirit and success.
