The Freedom Lil' Bulldogs Football Organization was chartered in 1971 and has proudly become one of the top organizations promoting youth football in the Beaver County, Western Pennsylvania area. Our purpose is to inspire character in each player such as teamwork, respect for parents, teachers, and coaches, and the highest ideals of good sportsmanship and fair play.
Also, to foster and promote the game of football and teach players fundamentals such as blocking, tackling, running, kicking, passing, and the importance of maintaining physical, mental, and moral fitness.
The Freedom Lil' Bulldogs compete each year in the Beaver County Youth Football League. We annually field 4 teams.
Midgets 12-13 yrs old 145lb max. weight
Mitey Mites 10-11 yrs old 125lb max. weight
Termites 8-9 yrs old 100lb max. weight
Twerps 5-7 yrs old 85lb max. weight
As our recent and past seasons have suggested, we have been very successful. Over the past seasons, we have achieved numerous championships and runner-ups, including:

FREEDOM LIL' BULLDOG TEAMS SWEEP CHIPPEWA
Great job by all of our teams with a 4 game sweep this past Saturday against Chippewa!!
The Twerps started the day with a shutout win 18-0. The Termites and Mitey Mites hung on for 26-20 and 19-13 victories, respectively. And the Midgets cruised to a 34-8 win.
Next up for the Lil' Bulldogs will be the New Brighton Little Lions this Saturday.

BEAVER COUNTY LEAGUE STANDINGS
Attached in a handout, you can find the Beaver County Youth Football League standings for all age groups as of Week 1.
For playoff purposes, the Midget, Mitey Mite, Termite, & Twerp division winners along with the next best 4 records (total of 8 teams) make the playoffs.

MD GAME THIS SATURDAY
This week's game, Saturday, September 6th, against the New Brighton Little Lions will be our annual MD Game.
Every player, cheerleader, & dance team member should have received an MD can. Please go to your neighbors, relatives, or anyone else with your MD can and have them donate to a very worthy cause.
The New Brighton organization will also be participating by collecting donations also.
Bring your MD cans filled to Saturday's game & all players, cheerleaders, & dance team members will drop off their cans at the middle of the field before their respective games.
HOAGIE SALE
The Freedom Lil' Bulldogs Booster Club will once again sell Hoagies.
An 18" Hoagie is $5.00. All club members will be selling these items from now until September 4th, & we will be making them on September 7th.

SAUSAGE
The Freedom Lil' Bulldogs Booster Club will make our popular and tasty sausage in September. Orders are due by Thursday, September 18th, and we will make it on Wednesday, September 24th.

The sausage comes in 2lb bags, and is $2.50/lb for hot link & hot loose and $2.25/lb for unseasoned loose.

The Freedom Lil' Bulldogs Booster Club is always in search of new members. If you are committed to promoting youth football in our area, please join us. We meet weekly, 8:30pm Thursdays, at our clubhouse located at 751 Third Avenue, Freedom.
