Way to go, Shelby!
NASLL was proudly represented by 8 age year old Shelby Shayler at the White House on Wed July 16.
Shelby is a member of the NAS Challenger Dodgers. She was selected to represent Challenger Little League and District 8 of Virginia, home of the World wide Challenger Jamboree.
Shelby and All Star Hall of Famer Frank Robinson presented the game ball to Preseident Bush before the All Star Tee Ball game on the South Lawn of the White House, while Kenny Chesney sang the National Anthem. One player from each state participated in the Little League All Star game. Shelby and her family enjoyed a tour of the White House and a picnic with President and Mrs. Bush after the game.
