At a scheduled board meeting 8/18/2008 several changes were made to the board membership.

Four new board members were elected.  These board members are Clay Adrian, Manny Vigil, Kelly Powe and Victor Kotulek.

In addition Robert McGuire, Barry Rhodes and John Pearson retired from the board.

Thanks to those that were able to come by and help lay down the new turf at Powell Field.  I hope I'm not leaving anyone out, but thanks to Vohnya, John, Rusty, Scotty, Kelly, Stephen, Jon, Victor, Bret and Collin!  Special thanks to Kelly for hauling in the load, and to Stephen and Vohnya for the use of their heavy equipment.

The recent rains made it a little harder to do this than it would have been otherwise, but who can turn down a good rain!  The turf will need some work to level and fill in between now and next spring, but we have the guys who know what to do and that can get it done.
